1st Day of School 2012

Look at how much my girls grew over the summer! They are so happy to be back at school. The first couple of days after Delaney and Cecelia started I really missed their presence. After having them home all summer I really did feel like I was missing a limb. It's that feeling like when you feel like you forgot something. Now that it's been a week or so I'm getting a little more used to it. Laila started a week later which was a nice transition.
Even though summer break is over it still doesn't feel like summer itself is over. Yesterday was 85 degrees and today is supposed to be in the 90's. As long as I can still run around barefoot the fat lady hasn't sung.

On an unrelated note, I was going through some of my oooold, old blog posts the other day for probably the first time - I don't know - ever? I was amazed at how much I had forgotten from just a few years ago. The girls loved watching the old videos of themselves and I started to feel bad for not keeping up with my blog.  Ever since I joined Facebook I've pretty much neglected this baby. I don't want to be sad that I didn't document more of what's going on in our little lives so I hope to post more here, even if at the end of the day it's just for me to go back and reflect on.

In other news around here there really is no news. Bill and I are still hard at work and school is back in session for me as well. I've got a laundry list of things that I'd like to get done around here, but we're really buckling down and trying to save for a winter vacation.
