Energy

I have been really (like, really) lazy this week.
I mean, the house still gets picked up. We still play outside. We all get bathed and ready for the day.
But, we skipped preschool Monday AND Thursday.
Monday I didn't want to go. Yesterday Delaney didn't want to go.
Then, at 8:30 last night I was tired already.
Maybe it's the fresh air.
Maybe it's those little people you see in the pictures wearing.me.out.

When I told Bill I was tired last night he said "I go to bed after you and wake up before you"
I felt lazy when he said that.
He knew it and covered by saying that I work harder.
I wish it wasn't a competition. I wish some weeks it was acceptable to just be lazy.

If I had a full time office-y job I would probably be fired by now.

Top 5 on a Monday

It's a dreary Monday and those of us at home {CeCe and Bill have to work hard everyday} are being lazy by skipping school.
But, everyone's happy just hanging out after a busy weekend with a visit from Papa and Grandma Marilyn and a birthday lunch for Papa Heer and the whole Heer clan.

It's easy to get down in the dumps on a dreary day so I thought I'd perk things up with my Top 5 favorite things about each of my children (for today).

Lazy Way to Blog

I was actually going to do a post about being home with my children and doing daycare, but then I read this and realized that it's just what she's talking about that makes it so stressfull to me. Enjoy!

Random Thoughts

1. I realized while looking at a recent picture of Zac Efron that I am officially old enough to utter the phrase "I could be his mother."
2. I can count on one hand how many times I've mopped my kitchen floor.
3. Laila needs anger management.
4. How far is too green? Having a goat in your backyard? I'm not trying to be a pilgrim here.
5. I love Facebook because I get to watch people I've known since childhood or high school live their lives.
6. I don't like cats. Just don't like 'em.
7. I want sushi tonight.
8. When this snow melts I'm going to get rid of half the crap in my house.
9. Men my age seem to all be having a life crisis for some reason. Hello - grow up!
10. I cried this morning because Clare told me they're moving to the East Coast in August.
